CORPORATE REMOTE ACCESS
The SuperInternet Access Secure Remote Access Solution (SRAS) provides access
to email, file servers, and other applications on the corporate network in a
secure manner.
Utilising proven hardware and software from Cisco Systems, deploying SRAS
ensures that work does not grind to a halt even if staff members are advised to
stay away from the office.
SRAS takes into account both the privacy as well as the availability aspect of
security. Confidentiality of information is maintained through the use of IPSec
and 3DES connections. This ensures that all information traversing the links
between the corporate network and the employee at home are fully encrypted and
therefore secured to the extent that even network operators at our Network
Operations Centre (NOC) are unable to view any information.
The SRAS infrastructure at the SuperInternet data centre is engineered according
to industry best practices for high-availability. Our entire core IP
infrastructure is fully redundant and at the site level, telecommunications is
provided by multiple telcos and power is UPS+genset backed.
With our solution, you can get connected:
At home ("Remote Site"):
ADSL or Cable Connection
Cisco VPN client software; OR
Cisco Router with Easy VPN client feature
At the office ("Head-end"):
ADSL or other Internet Connection with Static IP
Either Cisco PIX firewall; OR
Cisco VPN Concentrator 3000; OR
Cisco IOS Router with IPSEC 3DES feature set.
MS Certificate Server (optional – only required with certificate based
authentication is desired)
SRAS is designed to be a scalable solution with variations targeted at all
levels. SuperInternet offers several bundles featuring entry-level to
enterprise grade Cisco VPN capable hardware.
These routers, firewalls, and VPN concentrator devices are packaged with
SuperInternet's data communications services including ATM services, E1 lines,
Fractional E1s and high-seed ADSL (up to 1.5 Mbps) to provide a seamless
end-to-end managed solution.
